Atlanta, Ga. – December 8, 2016 – PossibleNOW, the leading provider of customer engagement and enterprise preference management solutions, today announced its inclusion in a report on privacy support providers by Forrester Research, an independent global technology and market research company. Entitled “Vendor Landscape: Privacy-Support Providers for Marketers,” the August 2016 report included PossibleNOW among 34 vendor and user companies who were surveyed.
The report, authored by Principal Analyst Fatemeh Khatibloo, establishes that marketers need guidance to make sense of their new privacy responsibilities. The report also states that privacy is still an afterthought in most marketing organizations.
Khatibloo writes, “that’s because marketers 1) don’t understand their new responsibilities and 2) don’t know where to turn for help.” She writes that because internal resources such as legal or security and risk teams are often stuck in compliance and risk mitigation mode, they may not understand the business drivers behind marketing tactics. The report adds that marketers may want to look to external resources for guidance.
